Sarah’s Summer Self-Challenge!

I’ve been on vacation for a while now — I go back to work on Monday.  It’s been great!!  I’ve had time to think, too, about how I want to spend my summer.  I get 2.5 hours off each week (Summer Hours!) and I’d like to spend them productively.  I have a lot still I need to learn about yoga, teaching, and sequencing, and I think this summer is the time to do it.  I particularly have trouble with “workout” yoga — I tend to stumble through poses clutzily when I do it myself instead of in class or using a DVD.  It’s something that’s bothered me for a while.


SO I am going to do yoga this summer…  Just yoga — with some walking and maybe the occassional run.  But I want to really focus on my yoga and sequencing.  I’m hoping this will strengthen me all over and help me grow.  I’ll be sequencing on my own, and also go to a class once a week.  I’ll be going to Samara Yoga, Back Bay Yoga / Sweat and Soul, and Exhale Spa.  I’ll be doing yoga at least twice a day, once for 60-90 minutes.  I’m actually very excited!!

    Oh wow that sounds interesting 🙂 I just got inspired to maybe do a one week – of – yoga too. Not this week but I do want to do yoga three times this week.
    I can feel my muscles on my upper arms 😉

    Now what are summer hours? Is that just for your job? Its amazing that you can actually spend more time outside, outside doing yoga or what ever you feel like doing 🙂
